Asking Unions to Make Concessions has a Long History of Failure

This so called assault on the middle class is about asking state employees to pay 5.8% of their pay, less than 1 percent toward their pensions, and also to pay about 12 percent of their health care premiums. Most middle class Americans don't get them kind of deals, this is simply asking for a concession from the union thugs, something the unions never do.

If union members can pay up to $1,000 a year in union dues, why can't they pay something toward their retirement, and health care like everyone else ? Wisconsin has about 300,00 govt employees, the other 5.6 million people are fed up with financing their perks, what is so hard to understand about that ?

Class warfare, destruction of the middle class, Wall Street meanies destroying America, give me a break. The Governor of Wisconsin is trying to save his financially strapped state some money, you would think unions would be happy to oblige, since it costs them very little, and helps everyone. Obama can steal billions of dollars of stimulus money to pay unions and govt workers, the media says nothing, ask a union to make a concession and the suddenly the sky is falling.

In truth, the 'middle class' is comprised of people who are NOT 'union hacks.' and who are being forced into  unfair wage & benefit demands. The relationship between these unions and the government is the very definition of "corruption "

These unions are government organized as a special interest group to lobby itself to do what it wants to do anyway, grow. These unions use dues extracted from members to elect their members' employers.

And governments, who have no need to make a profit, extract government employees' salaries from taxpayers. Government sits on both sides of the table in "negotiations" with unions.

Don't cry for the unions, they are NOT crying for you !

The Religion of "Peace" Strikes Again

In England four men launched a horrific attack on a teacher in which they slashed his face and left him with a fractured skull because they did not approve of him teaching religion to Muslim girls.

Now you might think that was bad enough, however Power Line goes on to report that British police had these guys under surveillance and knew that they were planning to attack this teacher, in fact they only succeed on their third attempt, and they let it happen !
